New support group announcement! 

Join our PAAC (Parent Assisting Alternative Communication Group) join us to learn about communication options for non-speaking children.

The goal is to let parents practice use of alternative communication so they can introduce it to their nonspeaking children.  When children don't talk, the options are out there to give them other ways to communicate, but those options can be daunting when you're unfamiliar with them.

For those who don't talk, exposure to other communication options gives them the chance to expand their existing communication skills. One way to expose children is for parents to use the option themselves--we will be helping the parents to use that option effectively so they can introduce it as an option to their non-speaking child.
